Na fesťák se těším, hlavně na tu atmosféru a pohodu s rodinkou a kamarády okolo, tentokrát vyšlo i počasí. Další svěťák je za rohem, takže v týdnu jede tvrdý trénink, až si v sobotu říkám, že nejsem moc ready na boulder závod. Kvalifikace je tentokrát v lehčím duchu, daří se mi přelézt všech 6 boulderů na 8 pokusů a zařazuji se na 2. postupové místo za Romana Kučeru.

Odpoledne příjemná podpisová akce u Singing rock stánku, chvilka odpočinku a jdeme na finále před diváky zaplněným parkem.

Ve finále příliš nechybuji, první kolmička OS, silová dvojka taky na OS. V trojce mě napoprvé klepne k zemi úvodní skok, druhým pokusem skáču a pohlídám si náskok do topu za malou jebku. Do čtyřky jdu už méně koncentrovaný a s pocitem vítězství. Do Topu je potřeba udělat nohand a až třetím pokusem přicházím na betu, která je pro mě přijatelná. Vítězím, nejvíce mě pod tlak dostávali Roman Kučera a Šimon Potůček, kteří zkompletovali podium. Díky MHFF za skvělou atmosféru, bylo to opět úžasné a díky Vám můžeme ze sebe vymáčknout 120%!

I'm looking forward to the festival, especially to the atmosphere and time spent with my family and friends. The weather was also great this year. The World Cup is coming soon, and I'm training super hard during the week, so on Saturday I'm saying to myself that maybe I'm not ready for the bouldering competition. Qualification is quite easy this time, though, so I manage to climb all 6 boulders in 8 attempts and I end up second, after Roman Kučera.
In the afternoon, I attend a nice autograph signing event at the Singing rock booth, then I take a moment of rest and we go to the final, to climb in front of a park full of people.
I don't make many mistakes in the final, I score an OS of the first vertical, together with the OS of the following power climb. In the boulder number three, the first jump knocks me to the ground for the first time, but at the second attempt I jump and make sure to finish. I'm already less concentrated in the fourth boulder, I already feel victorious. I need to make a nohand to the top, and it's no sooner than at the third attempt that I come with a suitable beta. I win, but Roman Kučera and Šimon Potůček put me under lots of pressure. Thanks to MHFF for the great atmosphere, it was amazing again and thanks to you we can squeeze 120% out of ourselves!
V německém Mnichově letos ještě stále probíhá vrchol sezóny - Mistrovství Evropy. Nádherné závodiště u historických památek a skvělá divácká kulisa vytvořily krásný zážitek. Cítím se ve formě, v kvalifikačních cestách se cítím dobře a postupuji z 13. místa do semifinále. Záznam z kvalifikací najdete na adrese
Následuje den pauzy a semifinále. Leze se mi opravdu dobře, nedělám moc chybiček a ve vytrvalostní cestě mi dojde kousek za polovinou cesty, končím na pěkném 10. místě, těsně za postupem do finále. Mám ze svého výkonu radost, držet se v takto vytrvalostní cestě v kontaktu s nejlepšími je pro mě dobrým impulsem.
Dnes a zítra se koná finále v kombinaci kam se dostal Adam a Eliška, tak nezapomeňte fandit!
There is the top event of the season – the European Championship – still going on in Munich, Germany. The amazing gym situated near beautiful historic monuments and the audience made my experience truly amazing. I feel in shape and during the qualification I advance to the semifinal from the 13th place. See the video from the qualification here:
After a day of rest the semifinal comes. I climb with ease and don't make too many mistakes. I run out of energy soon after the first half of the endurance route and I earn a nice 10th place. I'm happy about my performance because I was very close to advancing to the final and it feels really good to keep up with the best ones in such an endurance route.
Tento rok opět přišla pozvánka na Rockmaster, a i když je léto nabité závody, takováto pozvánka se neodmítá. Razíme s rodinkou, den nácviku jde dobře, v hodince na boulderu se mi daří vylézt téměř vše až na závěr v modrém převisu, pak 15 min v cestě na duel, cca 8a s těžkým krokem uprostřed, těžká cvakání, ale cítím se s cestou celkem ok.

V závodu vypadávám v boulderu hned na prvním boulderu, stavěči pozměnili nohu, ze které se dělá rozpor, a nedaří se mi to dobře ustát, bohužel je to pro mě konec a dělené 7. místo. V duelu se kvalifikuji čtvrtým časem za 1:25, ve čtvrtfinále porážím loňského vítěze Stefana Ghisolfiho v čase 1:18, v semifinále narážím na suveréního Schuberta, zariskuji a vypadávám. O třetí místo lezu s Filipem Schenkem, náš souboj je velmi těsný a nakonec o vteřinku prohrávám s časem 1:13 a končím tedy na 4. místě. Závod suverénně vyhrává Schubert, vítězí jak v boulderu tak v duelu s časem 1:01.

This year, I received the invitation to the Rockmaster competition again, and even though the summer is full of competititons, one never rejects such an invitation. I go with my family, the training day is going well, during the bouldering hour I manage to climb almost everything except for the finish in the blue overhang, then I have 15 minutes for the duel, the grade is about 8a with a tough move in the middle and hard belaying, but I feel quite ok about it.
During the bouldering part of the competition, I fall from the very first boulder, the builders changed a foothold and it threw me out of balance, unfortunately for me it was the end and a shared 7th place for me. In the Duel, I qualified from the 4th place with a time of 1:25, in the quarterfinals I beat last year's winner Stefano Ghisolfi in 1:18. In the semifinals I compete with Schubert, I risk and I'm eliminated. I am fighting for the third place with Filip Schenk, it is a very close fight and in the end I lose by a second with a time of 1:13, so I end up at the 4th place. Schubert wins both the bouldering part as well as the duel with a time of 1:01.
