SP Briancon 21.místo

Série Světových pohárů pokračovala v Brianconu. Daří se mi projít kvalifikačním kolem do semifinále, v první bouldrovější cestě končím na sdíleném 9. místě, druhou, vytrvalostnější cestu lezu až o půl páté odpoledne, částečně na sluníčku, a dosahuji 38. pozice.

Chvilka odpočinku a už jsem opět v izolaci ve večerním semifinále. Semifinále je opět vytrvalostnější, dělám pár chybiček a končím na 21. místě. Z postupu do semifinále mám radost, i když výkon mohl být o něco málo lepší – stále je na čem pracovat. A teď ROCKMASTER.

The World Cup series continued in Briancon. I manage to get through the qualifying round to the semifinal, in the first bouldering route I earn a shared 9th place and start climbing the second route, which is more focused on endurance at 4:30 p.m., partly in the sun, and I reach 38th place.

I take a moment of rest and then I go to isolation again. Again, the semifinal is mostly about endurance, I make several mistakes and end up at the 21st place. I am happy to have passed to the semifinal, though my performance could have been a little better, there are still some things to work on. And now let's get ready to the ROCKMASTER event.

SP Villars 37.místo a SP Chamonix 30.místo

Poslední dva Světové poháry neprobíhaly úplně dle představ, ale konkurence je veliká a chybičky se neodpouštějí. Ve Villars jsem v první kvalifikaci udělal chybku a smekla se mi noha ve vrchní části, ve druhé cestě padám, stejně jako velká část závodníků, ve skoku uprostřed cesty a celkově končím na 37. místě.

Pár dní odpočinku a tréninku a opět stojíme pod stage stěny pro světový pohár, tentokrát na jednom z nejkrásnějších míst na světě, v Chamonix. Kvalifikační cesty a vlastně celý závod se nesou v lehčím duchu, ve vytrvalostních cestách nedělám příliš mnoho chyb a končím dvakrát těsně pod topem, bohužel na postup do semifinále byl potřeba alespoň jeden Top, a tak končím těsně přede dveřmi semifinálového kola, na 30.místě.

The last two World Cups didn't really go as expected, but the competition is huge and every mistake counts. In Villars I made a mistake during the first qualification, my foot slipped near the top. As for the second route, I fell from the jump in the middle like most of the other competitors and in total I took 37th place.

A few days of rest and training and we are once again standing under the wall, this time it is in one of the most beautiful places in the world: in Chamonix. The qualification routes, as well as the competition itself, are easier, I don't make too many mistakes in the endurance routes and twice I finish just below the top. Unfortunately, I needed to score at least one Top to pass to the semi-finals and my 30th place was close but not enough.
