Pata Ledovce 8C

Spotter

Včera se mi povedlo, po čtyřech letošních session, přelézt Patu Ledovce 8C, boulder z dílny Adama Ondry. Pata ledovce se skládá ze dvou částí, první je Špička Ledovce za 8B a druhá Patička Ledovce za 8A+. Kroky celkem jdou: jebky, silové kroky, technika, crux spočívá v tom celé to spojit.

Minulý výjezd jsem padal už v druhé části, šestkrát jsem přelezl úvodní pasáž za 8B, ale vždy mně ke konci došlo. Včera po zahřátí padám totál nateklej v úplně posledním kroku do dobrých tesaných lišt pod Topem. Spočinu, doladím maličkosti a dalším pokusem přelézám. Mám to tak nachozené, že už se kroky ani nezdají tak těžké, lezu bez chyby a můžu slavit přelez!

Yesterday I finally finished Pata Ledovce 8C, a boulder by Adam Ondra. It has two parts - Špička Ledovce 8B and Patička Ledovce 8A+. The moves are quite OK, there are some tiny holds, power moves, technical moves... and the crux is to connect it all.

Last time I kept falling from the second part, I managed to climb the 8B part six times but then I lacked power for the finish. Yesterday I warmed up a bit and then fell from the last move before the top. So I took a break, worked on the details a bit and the very next attempt was successful - I know the boulder so well that the moves don't seem difficult any more and I can celebrate!
