Kvalifikace
Druhý den si můžeme pospat a dopoledne zafandit holkám v semifinále. Jsou tam některá překvapení, do finále nepostupují favoritky Peťa Růžičková a Karin Bílková, ale závodní pole je našlapané a není prostor na chyby. Odpoledne probíhá chlapské semifinále a se třemi topy si hlídám postup do finále.

Finále se leze svěťákovým formátem, je už pěkně chladno a zaplněné náměstí vytváří skvělou atmosféru, snad i lepší než v Teplicích nad Metují. Nejprve všichni lezeme první boulder, kolmáč s náskokem a technikým dolezem po mikrohnidách, přelézám druhým pokusem a boulder dávají i další.

Dvojka je po velkých 360tkových chytech, boj s oblinami vyhrávám jen já, podržet top byl slušný oříšek a tady jsem to měl tak tak.

Trojku stavěčům "ošulíme" přes stup a všichni kromě Oldy Klapala dáváme.

Poslední boulder v převisu, náskok a pak žebřík nahoru, dáváme všichni. Co se týká boulderů, tak pohledově byly pěkné, ale lezecky jsem na MČR čekal trošku něco víc. Celkově mi to tedy vychází na první místo a oplácím Chváličovi, který i přes zdravotní peripetie zalezl skvěle a skončil třetí, porážku z loňska. Mezi nás se ještě vecpal Roman Kučera, který tady měl povedený závod.

V hodnocení Českého Poháru obsazuji po výsledcích 1-1-1-1-1-1 i celkově první místo, mám radost, ustát nápor především Štěpána nebylo letos vždy jednoduché. Díky Kačce za podporu po celý rok nejen u nás, ale i na Svěťácích. A teď? Čas na nějaké skály, konečně!!

This year the season of competitions was concluded by a Czech Championship in Slaný and it was huge and amazing - the climbing stage, holds, atmosphere! We start on Friday by an evening qualification, I climb all the 8 boulders with only two second attempts which helps me to the second place and a ticket to the semifinal.
The next day we can sleep a bit longer and cheer the girls in their morning semifinal. There are some surprises - the favorites, Peťa Růžičková and Karin Bílková, don't get to the final. But they have strong competition and there is no space for mistakes. In the afternoon the men's semifinal takes place and with three tops I pass to the final.
The final is climbed in the World Cup fashion, it's pretty cold and the full square creates a wonderful atmosphere, maybe even better than in Teplice nad Metují. First we all climb the first boulder, a vertical with a jump and a technical finish, I climb it at the second attempt and the others succeed, too.
Number two consists of big 360 holds, I'm the only one who wins the struggle with the round holds. It's a brainer to grab the top, it was really tight...
We "hack" the third boulder and everyone except for Olda Klapal finishes.
The last boulder is in an overhang, the initial jump is followed by a ladder up. Everyone finishes. Regarding the boulders... they were nice at the first sight but from the climber's point of view I expected much more. I earned the first place and paid Chválič (who did very well despite the health problems and ended up third) for the last year's defeat. Roman Kučera was second.
In an overall score of the Czech Cup I'm first, with my results: 1-1-1-1-1-1. I'm happy because it wasn't easy to face the pressure of my competition (Štěpán in particular). Thanks to Kačka for her support during the year, not only here in Czech republic but also at the World Cups. And what about now? Finally the time has come for some rocks!
