Ještě jsem pořádně nedobil energii po SP v Kranji a už jsem na cestě na další závod: Mistrovství Evropy v lezení na obtížnost v Edinburghu. V Edinburghu jsem se zúčastnil svého prvního velkého závodu - Mistrovství světa mládeže v roce 2004, 15 let na velké závodní scéně, polovina života. Stěna je umístěna ve starém lomu, leze se v 12 stupních, cesty jsou kolmější a delší. S kvalifikačkami se popasuji celkem dobře, v první cestě 12. místo, ve druhé dělené 2. místo, celkově mi to dává 8. postupové místo do semifinále.

Semifinále jde taky poměrně dobře, ale v malých lištičkách mi rychle natéká a dolezu si pro 11. místo, těsně pod postupovou hranici do finále.

Odpoledne fandíme Adamovi a ten dokazuje, že momentálně jej v obtížnosti nelze porazit, a suverénně vítězí.
Vzhledem k tomu, jak se mi letos daří v obtížnosti, jsem se rozhodl vyrazit na poslední dva světové poháry do Asie, takže 18 - 20.10. horká Čína a týden na to Japan.
I haven't still quite recharged after the World Cup in Kranj and here I am, travelling to another competition: the European Championship in climbing for difficulty in Edinburgh. Back in 2004 I took part in my first big competition there - the Youth World Championship. I've been attending big competition for 15 years, that's a half of my life. The gym is located in an old quarry, we climb in 12 degrees and the routes are more vertical and steep. I'm doing quite well during the qualification, though, I'm 12th in the first route and share the 2nd place in the second one, so in total I'm 8th and pass to the semifinal.
The semifinal is quite ok, as well, but I get swollen soon in the small ledges and I end 11th, right below the line.
In the afternoon we cheer Adam and he proves that right now he is by far the best in climbing for difficulty.
I'm doing very good in this season, so I decided to go to the last two World Cups in Asia. From 18th to 20th October I'll be in the hot China and a week later I'll go to Japan.
