Prostředí krásných hor v okolí městečka Meiringen nás již každoročně vítá do nové sezóny Světového poháru v boulderingu. Tentokrát nás přivítalo i cca 40 cm nově napadlého sněhu, jako v pohádce.
Naše ubykace
V kvalifikaci nastupuji jako 15. v pořadí, klasicky: jednička plotna a pro mě zero points, moje gramlavé nohy nejsou schopny ustát sklopenou strukturu, alespoň zapisuji zónu.

Dvojka a trojka jsou silové rubárny, nic těžkého na vymýšlení, klasické lezení a pro mě Flash a druhý pokus, škoda, že nebyly trošku těžší.

Čtyřka je zábavná, začátek v koutě, číšník a hop do zóny, pak už relativně snadno do topu. Koutem se probíjím až těsně před koncem časového limitu a stihnu jen zapsat zónu.

Poslední boulder je jednoduchý, skočit do struktury a průtlak, průtlak mi dá zabrat, ale dávám a zapisuji třetí Top.
Pětka
Celkem mi výkon vynese 43. místo, solidní, s výkonem jsem celkem spokojený, síla byla dobrá, přijít na čtyřku dříve a mohlo to být ještě o pár příček lepší, ale ten kolmáč, ten mě už nebaví. Adam kvalifikací projde bez problému a nakonec celý závod vyhrává. Ukázal neskutečnou všestrannost, finále byl krásný zážitek, díky! V kvalifikaci zaleze pěkně i Kuba Konečný a končí na 49. místě, Eliška Adamovská končí na 61. místě a Štěpán obsazuje 93. místo. Teď nás čeká pár tréninků a další kolo, tentokrát v Moskvě.
The beautiful mountains surrounding the town of Meiringen greet us in the new season of the World Cup in bouldering. This year there are 40 cm of fresh snow and it looks like a fairytale.
I start the qualification 15th, the first boulder is a slab and zero points for me, my clumsy feet struggle with a slanted structure, but at least I have a zone.
Number two and three are both power boulders, nothing to think about much, just climbing. I have one flash and one top at the second attempt, too bad these weren't harder.
The fourth boulder is fun, it starts in a dihedral and after the jump to the zone it's quite easy. I get through the dihedral just before the time's up so I only have a zone.
The last boulder is easy, I just have to jump to the structure and do a mantel. The mantel is pretty tough but I manage to get the third Top.
In total I'm 43th, which is good, I'm quite satisfied, power is ok and if I figured out the fourth boulder sooner it could be even better, but I don't like verticals. Adam gets through the qualification with ease and in the end he wins the whole competition, he is a truly versatile climber and the final was an amazing experience, thanks a lot! Kuba Konečný is also very good and he is 49th, Eliška Adamovská is 61st and Štěpán 93th. Now we'll have some training sessions and another round of theWorld Cup which will take place in Moscow.
