Adidas Rockstars
Každý rok jsem pozvánku na Adidas Rockstars přehlížel, letos jsem se ale s Kačkou rozhodl vyrazit a stálo to za to. Jako závodník se cítím jako v bavlnce, pěkná stěna, super kvalifikační bouldery a super těžké semifinále. V kvalifikaci se mi podaří přelézt všechny čtyři bouldery, nejvíce mě potrápí silová trojka, ve které ztékám z oblé kostky, a úvodní náskok ve čtyřce. Výkon kvalitní a 13. postupové místo.

Cítím se docela vycucaně, odpoledne dám masáž, koukáme na doprovodný závod a večer společná večeře. Před semifinále cítím únavu, tento rok je pro mě nějak problém odjet kvalitně dvě kola. Hodně se leze jenom jednička, kde na program přicházím až ke konci časového limitu. Dvojka a trojka mají po dvou, respektive třech přelezech, ve dvojce jsou zapotřebí ocelové prsty v mikroliště, za mě málo železa, tak alespoň zóna. Trojka silovina, nohy napřed a pak tři velké struktury, já jsem spadl pod topem, tam to bylo blízko. Čtyřka peklo, kde je i zóna pro většinu lidí daleko. Výsledek 2z/5p mě odsunuje na 19.místo.
So far, I've never seized the opportunity to go to Adidas Rockstars, but this year I decided to give it a try. And it was worth it. As a competitor I was taken a very good care of - the wall was good, the qualification boulders great and the semifinal super hard. I successfully climbed all the four qualification boulders, the hardest of them being the third one - a power climb - and also the initial jump to the fourth boulder. I think I did quite wel, passing from the 13th place.
I am exhausted, so I have a massage in the afternoon and then we watch the accompanying competition and have a dinner together in the evening. Before the semifinal I feel somehow tired, this year I seem unable to climb well for two rounds in a row. The only semifinal boulder that is often finished is the first one. I find the right programme shortly before the time is up. There are just two or three finishers of the second and third boulder. The second boulder requires steel fingers at a micro ledge, at least I reach the zone here. Number three is a power climb with three big structures and I fall from under the top. This one was really close. The fourth boulder is a pure hell, even the zone is out of reach for most of the competitors. With the score 2z/5p I end up 19th.
