O víkendu jsem dostal pozvánku na master závod do Slovinska - Triglav the Rock Ljubljana. V pátek s Kačkou dorážíme na večer na místo registrace, potkáváme se se závodníky a téměř nemůžeme odmítnout pozvání na místní burger, nálada je dobrá a přátelská.
Ljubljana
Závod se konal v krásném centru Ljubljany, velká stage, show, jen počasí moc nepřálo a celou sobotu propršelo. Semifinálové kolo začnu celkem dobře, čtvrtým pokusem přelézám první kolmáč.

Dvojka začíná koordinačním náskokem, pak trochu lezení, zvednutí nohy a top. Hned prvním pokusem dolézám pod top, nohu k hlavě nezvednu, plácnu si s topem a celkem se zastavím.

Trojka je silovka, cítím únavu ze dvojky a na víc než další plácnutí s topem mi síly nestačí.

Čtyřka je pekelný komáč, který snad vylezl jen obr Honza Hojerů, pro mě nula.

I když z toho bylo celkově 15.místo, finále nebylo až tak daleko. Nicméně forma a rozpoložení hlavy teď nejsou v nejlepší kondici, a tak jsem se rozhodl přeskočit následující svěťák ve Vailu a směřovat přípravu na vrchol sezóny do Mnichova na ME.
At weekend I was invited to the master competition in Slovenia - Triglav the Rock Ljubljana. On Friday evening Kačka and me arrive to the registration point and meet the other participants. It is almost impossible to decline the invitation to the local burger place, the mood is so good and friendly.
The competition took place in a beautiful centre of Ljubljana, with a big stage and show, only the weather wasn't so good and it was raining the whole Saturday. The semifinal started quite well for me, I climbed the first vertical boulder at the fourth attempt.
The second boulder started with a jump that required coordination, then there was a bit of climbing, lifting the leg and the top. At the first attempt I got under the top but I couldn't lift the leg, so I high fived the top and then I was pretty much done.
Number four was a power boulder, I was still tired from climbing the second boulder, so the best I could do with this one was another high five with the top. I had no strength left to finish.
The fourth boulder was an awful vertical, I think nobody but Honza Hojer, who is very tall, climbed this one, for me it was a zero.
Even though I ended up the 15th, the final wasn't that far. However my body and mind aren't in good shape right now, so I decided to skip the following World Cup in Vail, and to give all I have to prepare properly for the European Championship in Munchen.
